Product Introduction
Galvalume coil is an alloy material, mainly composed of aluminum (55%), zinc (43.4%) and silicon (1.6%) solidified at 600℃ to form a dense quaternary crystal. It has many excellent properties, including:
Corrosion resistance: The corrosion resistance of galvanized coil is three times that of pure galvanized coil. When zinc is worn, aluminum forms a dense layer of aluminum oxide to prevent further corrosion.
Heat resistance: Galvalume coil can withstand temperatures up to more than 300 degrees Celsius, similar to the high-temperature oxidation resistance of aluminum-plated steel sheets, and is often used in high-temperature environments such as chimney pipes, ovens, lighting fixtures and fluorescent lamp covers.
Thermal reflectivity: Its thermal reflectivity is twice that of galvanized steel sheets, and it is often used as insulation materials.
Economical efficiency: Since the density of 55%AL-Zn is lower than that of Zn, the area of galvanized coil is more than 3% larger than that of steel coil at the same weight and the same thickness of the gold coating.
